Jason Marsden fans, you need this!

When I was looking for pictures to do that pimp thing for smallfandomfest and fandom-of-one, I went on Google and typed in "dash x". As you can imagine, it brought up a lot of pictures of Jason Marsden being beautiful and having grey hair.

It also brought up a couple of pictures of My Little Ponies doing things together that My Little Ponies did not do in my day. I am finding it very hard not to be judgy about the entire internets over the fact that such a thing exists.

I am also finding it very hard not to mentally link Dash with My Little Ponies now. Something in my head looks at him now and thinks of sparkly manes and ill-advised bonnets and Dream Castle.

Oh, I miss my Dream Castle. I got it from a carboot and it was a bit scratched and the door was broken in half, but man, Johnny and I had some epic pitched battles there. I was Whistler, because she was clever and liked to read and blue was my favourite colour. He was a baby Sylvanian Families hedgehog, because he had spiky hair. Together, we fought crime. And by "crime", I mean Action Man and Gem. Those bitches always thought they could fuck with the Ponies just because they had cars and shit.

In other news, I am riddled with angst about this Fright Night remake - it looks so shit and unfunny... but Colin Farrell looks so beautiful in it... but I know that remakes are almost never good and also that Marti Noxon is a plague upon this world... but I love Colin Farrell so much... but I don't want to be hurt by him again, oh... it is very hard to be me right now. I am full of conflict.

So there's a new starter at work today, and I was training her and chatting to her in that tentative getting-to-know-you-enough-to-decide-if-you're-worth-knowing-better way that I do with people I just met that I may have to spend a lot of time with, and the conversation turned to cute animals of our aquaintance and she was telling me about her six month old rescue kitten and I'm like, awwsocute, because I love kittens, and she's like, "Yes, he was so weak and tiny when we first got him but now Binx is such a handsome cat..." and I was like, "Binx... as in Hocus Pocus?" and she was like, "Oh yes" and I was like OMG YOU ARE MY HERO! Although now I want to watch EI and I can't because Kirsten has borrowed my DVDs and that makes me sad, but her cat is called Binx and that is so totally awesome!

Now, it's off for bunny snuggles and gay 80's cop shows for me, so goodnight all.

Getting Return To The Batcave on DVD may well be the best six quid I've spent in the last month. And I'm not just saying that because it has Jason Marsden in tights - although that is definately a contributing factor - or because he gets comedically injured every few scenes and has to go to the doctors looking all tousled and shirtless and pouty - although I would be lying if I claimed not to enjoy watching it. For anyone who has ever sat there and giggled over the old TV show with Adam West and Burt Ward, I urge you to watch this movie. And for those of you who haven't... watch it anyway, it's got Jason Marsden in tights.

Now, I'm off to watch Batman Begins, because after sitting through Intermission last night, I have a need to see Cillian Murphy being pretty again. Adieu, spacemonkeys.

Normally I love the IMDB. It's the Holy Grail of movie geekdom and the next best thing to a cure for those of us who suffer from HITS*.

But I could really have done without knowing that Tino and Dash X are played by the same guy. I keep imagining Dash getting all worked up about not being awarded a Yearbook Superlative or tricking Mars into buying a load of stupid stuffed dogs or being forced to dress up as a mime and consequently developing an irrational fear of seagulls.

In other news, Ginger Snaps Back is awesome. If you disgree with me, clearly you don't have a proper head.

*HITS: "Hey, isn't that...?" syndrome.
